Mr. Pablo Mendoza, president of Cayapes Kapangan Irrigators’ Association (IA), signs the acceptance certificate for the Cayapes Communal Irrigation System which was turnover to the IA for operation and maintenance, as witnessed by Kapangan Mayor Manny Fermin, NIA-Benguet Satellite Office Head Godofredo Velaque, Brgy. Captain Erick Tuanan and other IA and barangay officials.

Women joins men in irrigation project construction

Ms. Vicky Cayamso blends well with her fellow workers as she displays her agility in working together with men in the construction of irrigation canal in Brgy. Cayapes, Kapangan, Benguet.

Kapangan, Benguet - At first and even at second glance, many would not be able to recognize that one of the five workers manually mixing concrete for the irrigation canal in Brgy. Cayapes in this town was a woman.
