QUEZON, ISABELA - Employees of the NIA Kalinga Irrigation Management Office (IMO) will now have a more conducive work environment in Quezon, Isabela with the completion of the NIA KIMO Quezon Sub-Office as well as a Lodging and Staff House both located in Brgy. Arellano of this municipality.
Inauguration of these two newly constructed buildings on March 25, 2024 was led by NIA-CAR Regional Manager Benito Espique, Jr., Quezon, Isabela Mayor Jimmy Gamazon, Jr., and UCRIS Quezon-Mallig Federation of Irrigators’ Association President Francisco Andumang.
The new one-storey NIA KIMO Quezon Sub-office which measures about 540 square meters houses a manager’s office, a conference room, 6 other offices for cashiering, administrative and finance, as well as a stock room.... read more

Two irrigators’ associations in two municipalities of Ifugao will soon be bartering their agricultural products.
This developed after the signing of Marketing Agreement between the WAGUFI Irrigators’ Association (IA) of Brgy. Mabatobato, Lamut, and Mangingihi Impugong Ap-apid IA (MIAPIA) of Poblacion, Tinoc yesterday, February 29, 2024 at the Office of Tinoc Municipal Mayor.

KIBUNGAN, BENGUET – Farmers in Brgy. Madaymen are able to plant this dry season with the two completed pump irrigation projects constructed by the National Irrigation Systems.
This was according to Dominga Butag, one of the members of the Masala Madaymen Irrigaors’ Association (IA) during the turnover ceremony of Masala Communal Irrigation System (CIS) and Dalumpi-it Small Irrigation System (SIS) to the said farmers’ group for operation and maintenance on February 23, 2024.

LA TRINIDAD, BENGUET – A total of 21 solar pump irrigation projects (SPIP) were completed by the National Irrigation Administration-Cordillera Administrative Region (NIA-CAR) in 2023, according to Regional Manager Benito Espique, Jr.
With a total allocation of P106.9 million under NIA’s Establishment of Groundwater Pump Irrigation Project Solar Power-Driven Pump Irrigation Projects (EGPIP-Solar) fund, 19 of these completed solar projects now benefit a total area of 253 hectares with 365 farmers.
