
ARDOMA: Country's Irrigation Leaders 1st Quarter Conference
BAGUIO CITY – Members of the Association of Regional, Operations and Project Managers (ARDOMA) of the National Irrigation Administration (NIA) offices nationwide meet for their 1st Quarter Conference held in Baguio City on January 29, 2025.
The irrigation leaders discussed project and program implementation including farming support services program, smart farming initiatives, solar-powered pump irrigation projects, including related issues and policy issuances to ensure all are on the same page.
The ARDOMA also discussed future learning opportunities relative to other countries’ strategies and technology, and the new procurement law.

Interaction with the top management represented by NIA Senior Deputy Administrator Robert Suguitan, some department and division managers of the NIA Central Office and the Corporate Board Secretary was also conducted to confer on updates and gather matters for management discussion and action.
The body also decided to hold on status quo the ARDOMA’s officers, with Engr. Raymundo Apil, Regional Manager of Region 2, as the president.
The activity ended with the Salamat-Mabuhay Program for Engr. Benito Espique, Jr., a former member of the ARDOMA and regional manager of NIA-CAR who retired from service in October 2025.
