Researchers, scientists, engineers and other government workers in the agricultural sector of Asian countries that are members of the International Network for Water and Ecosystem in Paddy Fields (INWEPF) visited the world-famous Banaue Rice Terraces in Ifugao on November 24, 2017. 

The Banaue visit is part of the 14th INWEPF Symposium and Steering Meeting where a two-day session was earlier held at the Clark Special Economic Zone in Angeles City, Pampanga.

Thirty-three members of the project affected households of the Upper Chico River Irrigation System (UCRIS) are now more ready and have gained more self-reliance to embark on their own livelihood endeavors after attending the series of trainings as part of the Livelihood Assistance Program for the project affected people (PAP) .
