Engr. Bradley G. Grospe is now a full-fledged Division Manager A, Engineering and Operation of National Irrigation Administration-CAR as he took oath before Regional Manager Benito T. Espique, Jr. at the NIA-CAR Grounds, Wangal, La Trinidad, Benguet after the flag-raising ceremonies on June 17.
Alongside Grospe, whose promotion was signed by NIA Administrator, Gen Ricardo Visaya (Ret) on June 7 during his oath-taking, is his wife, Engr. Myrna Grospe, Ph.D., NIA-CAR Administrative and Finance Manager Grace Fanged, Section Chiefs and Benguet Provincial Head Godofredo Velaque.
Grospe entered the portals of National Irrigation Administration in 1986 as laborer at Ifugao Provincial Irrigation Office which was then under NIA-Region 2. He was Engineering Assistant then Engineer B for sometime until he became Engineer A of the Hapid Irrigation Project until its completion in 2001. From 2005 to 2009, he was Supervising Engineer A, and moved to NIA-CAR Regional Office in July 2009 when he was promoted as Principal Engineer C, heading the Engineering Section. He was Acting Division Manager for Engineering and Operations from 2017 until his appointment as full-fledged Division Manager.
He completed his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering at Saint Mary’s College in Nueva Viscaya in 1985. At the same university, he was conferred with an Innovative Masters in Public Administration in 2009.
Grospe has three children who are taking the same path as their parents in engineering. #Mylene Malecdan
